BEDFORD HOUSE

The house in Bedford has been built at the location of a barn, one of several farm buildings. It fits in the outline of the existing wall, which serves as a retaining wall for the terrain slope above. The project envisages a 3 storey building with outside access to two levels: the lower from the western side of the plot and the upper from the east, via a footbridge leading to the forest. Glazing on both sides gives the impression of forest penetration inside of the living room.
