BOULEVARD REVITALIZATION

Pedestrian routes and an area for rest are designed at the very end of the Rodła boulevard near the Rudawa River mouth. The area shall undergo revitalisation in order to accentuate the end of road and making available for residents and tourists. Modular benches are designed, facing two ways: overlooking the Wawel castle and westward. The bench facing westward shall be embedded in the soil in the form of a crest, with flowers growing in-between, which is supposed to symbolize a direction towards rural areas, where when one sits on a bench, one sees mostly nature. In contrast, the bench overlooking the Wawel castle (facing towards urban areas), shall open to a small square.
